A few days back I was having a problem with my Omnitrix application which was not responding properly. So, I decided to download the free Windows XP version. After downloading it, I went ahead and installed it and was able to get it running correctly. But when I tried to download some more application from Omnitux, I got an error message stating, "Omnitux is not compatible with your system". So, I decided to use another application download tool which was more reliable and worked perfectly fine.
In my opinion, if you are going to download a free application from Omnitux, be sure to check compatibility first before installing the software itself. There is also a help file in the software which is quite helpful in case you come across any problem. After I have downloaded all the necessary software, I installed Omnitux in my machine and was able to run the software fine. The first thing that I liked about Omnitux was that the interface is very user friendly. There were icons on the desktop, which indicate which application is currently active such as My Computer, My Network, and System.
Apart from the basic usage of the software, Omnitux has some other features as well. This includes the ability to run on most operating systems such as Linux, MAC OS and Windows. It also has the ability to monitor bandwidth usage, turn off the screen saver and have fast boot up time. The software's ability to browse the Internet and download media also proves very handy for me. Although, the application cost me less than what I paid for the trial version, I think that it is worth spending money for the software. I have been using the software since I downloaded it has been working perfectly since then.
